Mariachiara Cabrini was born in Mantua, a beautiful italian city. Compulsive reader since she was just a little girl, her love for books has never diminished, and during high school she also started to write, trying to give vent to the fertile imagination that has always characterized her. She also runs a book-blog “The art of writing … maybe” with the nick name of Weirde and is quite well known on the italian net, thanks to her reviews of books not yet published in Italian. Among the literary genres that she prefers are: the fantasy, the urban fantasy, the mystery, the historical romance, the paranormal, steampunk and sci-fi. Her myth is Jane Austen, but she also loves, among contemporary writers, Lois McMaster Bujold and Mary Balogh. She loves unconventional stories, vampires and romances with heroines not beautiful, but surprisingly smart. She hates zombies.
